Opening of a museum inside our shopping center Porta Di Roma
Our Italian shopping center Porta Di Roma became an European pioneer in the implementation of culture inside shopping centers.
An archeological museum just opened inside the mall in collaboration with the Ministry of Fine Arts of Rome, to offer visitors the opportunity to discover a part of their local history. Indeed, the mall is built on the ancient Fidenæ, an area full of remains from the Bronze Age to Antiquity. The result of twenty years of excavation that have made it possible to uncover mosaics, decorations, daily life products and funerary equipment. This operation is fully aligned with Act for Good, Klépierre’s CSR policy, and with one pillar particularly: Act For Territories, which illustrates the importance of local involvement in the regions we are implemented, and with our vision of the shopping center as a place of emotions and sharing.
