L’extension de Grand place inaugurée !
This morning, Klépierre inaugurated the 16,000-square-meter extension to its Grand Place shopping center in Grenoble. The project is a monumental renovation and extension designed in collaboration with the city to offer Grenoble residents a place to shop and share experiences, reflecting our tagline, SHOP. MEET. CONNECT.
The 16,000 sq.m extension includes a monumental new entrance filled with daylight, 30 new stores (Primark, Jott, Chaussea, Snipes, Nyx, La Casa de las carcasas, Jack & Jones, etc.) including 15 restaurants, a food court under a glass canopy, the region’s 1st Primark, 3,000 sq.m of photovoltaic panels on the roof, vegetated terraces that open up the mall to its surroundings, and a redevelopment of the shopping center’s surroundings, part of a vast urban restructuring project. An ambitious challenge taken up by all our teams and our partners L35 Architects, Léon Grosse and Egis, and acclaimed by the crowds gathered for the occasion.
In 2022, the mall completed its refurbishment, which aimed to redefine the entire customer experience by integrating more light, warmer materials, new hospitality areas for artistic events, and a new forecourt open to the city. All of these transformations offer a redesigned and enhanced experience for our customers, with a responsible approach (sustainable materials, planting of outdoor spaces, parking spaces dedicated to soft mobility), new services, rest areas, children’s play areas, etc.
