An accessible hub in central Paris
Every day, 1.2 million people pass through Paris’s Gare Saint-Lazare. With trains, buses and subways all converging at the site, it’s Europe’s second-largest transit hub, delivering travelers to the heart of Paris, steps away from the Opera, La Madeleine and the Grands Boulevards.
The station’s mall — now flooded with light thanks to its new glass roof — has been designed for visitors on the go who want to use their time wisely. It’s structured around vertical links comprising 20 elevators and escalators. Each of the mall’s three floors offers a sweeping view of the Gare Saint-Lazare.
Its 80 shops reflect a carefully curated retail selection that includes convenience stores, familiar concepts and a new generation of highly dynamic retail brands. That’s not to mention its 10 restaurants along with newsstands and services. Your trip begins here!

Stories
Success Story
French actor-rapper Joey Starr made an unannounced appearance at the transit hub, reciting literary works by Victor Hugo, Jean Jaurès, Aimé Césaire and others from a makeshift stage. The forty-minute performance was an excerpt from his one-man theater show, Éloquence à l’Assemblée, and reflected his desire to speak out publicly about peace, justice and equality.
